Muslim Americans in Public Service (MAPS) and the Muslim Legal Fund of America (MLFA) invites members for a webinar on workplace religious accommodations as well as non-federal employee rights such as religious discrimination and retaliation.
This event features litigation attorneys Chelsea Glover and Jinan Chehade from Muslim Legal Fund of America, both of whom litigate employment issues facing Muslim employees. Together with MAPS' own Chair of the Legal Advocacy Committee, Ejaz Baluch, Jr., this discussion will share information about your right to request religious accommodations at work -- especially with Ramadan just around the corner.
Event scheduled for Tuesday January 27th at 8pm EST.
Registration shared with MAPS Membership, Allies & Partners directly.
Supporters of MAPS’ mission of facilitating the career, community, and workplace development of Muslim American public servants (of all faiths, or no faith) are encouraged to join MAPS National as members, associate members, or affiliates at https://mapsnational.org/.
