Join MAPS New York for the second annual Ramadan Iftar, Excellence in Leadership, on March 10 at the NYU Rosenthal Pavilion overlooking Washington Square Park.

This gathering will bring together Muslim Americans serving across city, state, and federal government for an evening of community, reflection, and connection over iftar.

The Excellence in Leadership Iftar features senior incoming New York City government officials of the Zohran Mamdani Administration, including Sherif Soliman (Director, Mayor's Office of Management and Budget), Faiza N. Ali (Commissioner, Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs), Aliya Latif (Executive Director, Mayor’s Office of Faith Based Partnerships), and Ramzi Kassem (Chief Counsel to Mayor Zohran Mamdani), with many other officials in attendance.

This event is generously cosponsored by Helping Hand for Relief and Development, Guidance Residential, Arab American Aviation Professionals, with support from Mokafe, Castle Studio, Al Jalia Al Yemenia, Najmi Law, VinnCorp, Bridging Cultures Group, and Pervez & Rehman.

Open to MAPS members, associates, affiliates, allies, and their spouses with ticket purchase. Tickets are now sold out but the waitlist is open. $35 for MAPS Members & Spouses, and $65 for Associates, Affiliates, Allies & Spouses. Due to limited capacity advance registration is required.  NO tickets at the door and purchased tickets are NOT transferable.
