MAPS-DOJ Eid Celebration

MAPS-DOJ commemorates Eid Al Fitr with its members and senior officials across the U.S. Department of Justice alongside Attorney General Merrick Garland
Muslim Americans in Public Service commends its chapter at the U.S. Department of Justice (MAPS-DOJ), led by the incomparable Nadia Janjua Ahmed, for planning a wonderful inaugural Eid Reception last week. We thank all their members from across the Department, as well as representatives and leaders from MAPS National and other MAPS Federal ERGs for coming together to commemorate Eid Al Fitr with senior Department officials.
We join MAPS-DOJ in extending appreciation and gratitude to the 86th Attorney General of the United States, the Honorable Merrick B. Garland; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Director Steven Dettelbach; Senior Advisor and White House Liaison to American Muslim Communities (on detail from DOJ Civil Rights Division) Mazen Basrawi; DOJ Deputy Associate Attorney General Saeed Mody; Counsel to Associate Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Omar H. Noureldin; DOJ's Chief Diversity Officer Candice Cook; and DOJ Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships Director Sim J.
