Muslim Americans in Public Service thanks its members, guests and organizational cosponsors for making our third annual Summer Networking Event such a success last week.

MAPS National also thanks its longtime partners and advisors for their kind remarks, including Gautam Raghavan (Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel), Lori Ismail (Deputy Floor Director for Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries), the Hon. Zia Faruqui (Magistrate Judge, US District Court), Elvir Klempic (NSC Director of Partnerships and Global Engagement and White House Liaison to the Muslim community) and his predecessor, Mazen Basrawi, who celebrated his birthday with us.

The event was cosponsored by our esteemed partners at the Congressional Muslim Staff Association, Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation, Helping Hands for Relief and Development, and the Islamic Scholarship Fund. Organizational representation included leaders from MAPS Federal ERG Chapters (DOC, EPA, DOT, DOJ, EOP, DIA, & FEMA), Inclusive America, Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security and Conflict Transformation, Islamic Relief Worldwide, Islamic Circle of North America, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Muslim Public Service Network, and Mosaic Muslim Federal Employee Association.
