MAPS organizes its 3rd Annual MAPS National Winter DC Networking Event to bring together our esteemed Members and Associate Members across all levels and branches of government, as well as several partners and cosponsors

Muslim Americans in Public Service thanks its esteemed Members and Associate Members across all levels and branches of government for braving the cold to come together at our 3rd Annual MAPS National Winter DC Networking Event!

MAPS also thanks our ​v​alued ​partners and co-sponsor​s at Helping Hand USA, Amana Mutual Funds Trust, Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation, EquallyAble Foundation, and Islamic Relief USA​ for their continued support.​Guests met or reconnected with their colleagues​; MAPS ​national, State and chapter leadership; government officials and recruiters; and partner​ organizations, ​a​nd heard from Mohsin Syed, Chief of Staff at the US Department of Transportation, Mamadou Siré Bah, Director of Muslim American Affairs at the New York State Executive Chamber, Mohsin Ansari, President of ICNA, and other community leaders​.

We appreciated the appearance of the former President of MAPS New York, Sara Rawshanara, and current President of MAPS Michigan, Machhadie Assi who both traveled from far and wide. Also in attendance were the Chiefs of Practice for MAPS Communities of Practice for National Security: Junaid and Adil, Health: Sana Haider and Sarah Bajwa, and Government Contracting, Murtaza Ahmed, as well as the President of MAPS-White House Farrah Pappa, President of MAPS-Commerce Aamer Uddin, Vice President of MAPS-EPA Sahar Rana., Vice President of MAPS-DOJ Fatema Merchant, many outgoing Muslim American Biden Administration officials, and former and current MAPS partner organization leadership including Co-Founder of Islamic Relief USA, Anwar Khan, and Co-Founder of Asian American Federal Employees For Non-Discrimination, Aryani Ong.
